IT technology brings us convenience, meanwhile bothers us somehow.  Our personal data are kept and saved in services and easily to be manipulated for commercial use, genereally, they are not under the law to be permitted doing so, or to be more specific , the related laws and regulations are not well set up to guide the market at present.   

Well, those calls are less harmful compared to the calls we receive here. The calls we receive would tell us that an important postal document has arrived but it contained fake ID documents. We will hand it over to the police if you don't collect it. Call back this number 1234...... When you check the number it is the same as a police station (but faked) Online Reputation Management. When you call back, they say they are the police and suggest you pay a small sum of money to settle the problem. All these are scams to cheat people, bot not really police. A lot of people have been cheated and paid. I don't want to get involved with these people, so I just tell them don't call again or I report them.

The way I handle them is to counter sell to them. I tell them I have a great product and if you join membership, you can make money fast. The membership fee is Rmb 1000. Sometimes can find out how they got my contact phone number soho serviced apartment. Keep selling back to them until they are tired.
